Dentures
If you’ve lost all of your natural teeth, whether from periodontal disease, tooth decay or injury, complete dentures can replace your missing teeth & your smile.
Replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance & your health. Without support from the denture, facial muscles sag, making a person look older. You’ll be able to eat & speak - things that people often take for granted until their natural teeth are lost.
Even if you wear full dentures, you still must take good care of your mouth. Brush your gums, tongue and palate every morning with a soft-bristled brush before you insert your dentures to stimulate circulation in your tissues & help remove plaque.
Dr. Maleki performs all of his own set-ups. This enables him to give you the look you want. Below are some before and after images

Grayhawk’s partial dentures are designed to fill the needs of people who are missing only some of their teeth.
After a brief consultation during which the Grayhawk staff will take x-rays & impressions of your remaining teeth, Dr. Maleki will custom design & fabricate a partial denture prosthetic to perfectly fit you.
The partial denture works by connecting your artificial and natural teeth via a metal framework that blends form & function into a natural smile.

No matter how perfectly your dentures fit when you first get them, eventually they will begin to loosen & wiggle around in your mouth.
This is because as time passes, your gum structure shifts & changes, causing your dentures to fit incorrectly. If left unchecked, this may cause gum damage.
Dr. Maleki recommends scheduling a visit to Grayhawk every two years to reline your dentures & ensure they continue to fit you properly.
Dr. Maleki may remove some of the material around where your dentures meet your gums & replace it with a material of a more pliable consistency before you re-insert it into your mouth. This moldable material will form into an accurate impression of your gum structure.
Dr. Maleki will then replace the impressed material with the more durable material that forms the base of your dentures, giving you a set of teeth that feels as good as new.

If the sensation & dependability of your conventional dentures doesn’t suit you, Dr. Maleki and the Grayhawk staff are prepared to take you a step further through the use of implant supported dentures.
Unlike regular dentures, Grayhawk’s implant dentures connect solidly to special oral implants that provide a more natural feel while preventing wiggling or slippage.
After taking impressions and x-rays of your mouth, Dr. Maleki will consult with you to schedule a surgical appointment to insert the denture-supporting implants.
For each implant, a small incision will be made in the gum, allowing Dr. Maleki to drill a tiny hole in the bone in which the implant will be inserted.
A few months later, after the implants have fused with your bone, you will visit Grayhawk for a second surgery, during which the doctor will repeat his earlier gum incisions to expose the top of each implant. He will then place healing caps over each implant, tricking your gums into healing around them as if they were new teeth.
Just two weeks after your second surgery, you will return to Grayhawk, where your healing caps will be replaced with permanent abutments & Dr. Maleki will create an impression of your gums and abutments to design your new implant supported dentures.

Dr. Maleki and the Grayhawk staff know that nothing lasts forever, especially dentures.
As dentures age, they become more prone to various forms of damage & wear. Repetitive flexing of old or loose-fitting dentures can cause anything from cracks in the base material to loss of individual artificial teeth.
Grayhawk uses their knowledge & expertise to quickly & professionally repair any damage so you can continue living your life to the fullest.
